Individuals
Zag Design Group is the creative mix of Heather Reed, Kimberly Parrish and Yanne Clerc. We work closely with clients creating individualized graphic design, photography, and website packages.
Heather Reed’s designs draw from her varied and extensive experience with art and design. She pulls inspiration from her career in graphic design, which began in 1994 with print pieces and newspaper advertisements, as well as her background in fine art. Fine art continues to be a great inspiration as she builds on her work done at Pennsylvania State University where she completed her Masters of Fine Arts degree. Heather translates her experience with form and function to web design and development, where she specializes in cleanly styled, innovative design.
In her free time, she teaches a variety of art classes through the City of Santa Cruz, including carving and mosaic. She is also a cardio kickboxing instructor, and a black belt in Ho Kuk Mu Sul.
Kimberly Parrish brings 20 years of design experience to the team with an emphasis on print and packaging. She helps transform conceptual ideas from dreams to reality. A graduate of UC Davis in Design, she has been utilizing her studies since 1985. Also an accomplished artist, she focuses her talents on printmaking and painting, and has been featured in numerous exhibits and galleries in Hawaii, California and Australia.
In her leisure time, Kimberly enjoys surfing, skiing, kickboxing and yoga. Also a beginning guitar student, she loves all kinds of music and volunteers at the Kuumbwa Jazz Club in Santa Cruz.
Yanne Clerc, with a background in marketing research and trend forecasts, Yanne helps clients achieve their promotional and communication goals. She will map out an overview of your current business position and help you determine your target market, provide you with tools to help you capture a larger audience and in return increase your market share.
Yanne graduated with a bachelors degree in Marketing from New York City and speaks four languages. She received the ICMAD City awards for best packaging in Personal Care (Bah Humbug, Avocado Dreamin') in 2005. Very active, she enjoys running, yoga, boogie boarding and golfing. |
